When will my order ship?
New orders ship within seven (7) days of order placement.
Subscriptions ship every three months from the first order. Subsequent boxes typically ship by the 10th of the month based on this schedule.
How long does it take for my order to arrive?
U.S. customers: We ship exclusively with the United States Postal Service. You will receive a tracking e-mail when your order ships (within 7 business days of order placement). USPS typically delivers within 2-6 days, but some locations (AK, HI, APO/FPO addresses) can take up to two weeks to arrive. We cannot guarantee delivery dates, only ship dates.
Winter holiday orders: During the winter holiday season (Nov 25 - Dec 24), all new orders ship via USPS Priority Mail (2-3 day delivery window). All orders placed Dec 25 or later ship the week of January 1.
Canadian customers: Canadian orders ship via USPS International Mail, but may take several weeks to arrive. We cannot guarantee delivery dates, only ship dates. Please note that we are no longer accepting new subscriptions from Canadian customers due to rising international shipping rates. We hope to be back with you soon!
Where is my order?
When your order ships, you will receive a tracking e-mail with a USPS tracking number. That tracking number will show you your shipment's progress. If you created an account at checkout, you can check your order's progress here.
If you can't find the tracking e-mail and/or did not create an account, e-mail us and we will help you locate your package.
I have an allergy. Can I request a customized box?
We don't offer customized gift sets or boxes, but we do our best to steer clear of ingredients containing common allergens and irritants like peanuts. For your safety, we recommend that you read each individual ingredient label to make sure that specific items are safe to consume for your particular allergy.
What's with all the different packing material in my box?
We strive to limit our carbon footprint, and that includes reusing alongside recycling! Our boxes, inserts, and most packaging are purchased recycled, but we also rescue and reuse packaging from our vendor shipments so that even pesky plastics get a longer useful life.
What can I expect in a cooking subscription box?
Each quarter we release a new box full of culinary goodies. You'll receive a selection of items ranging from spices to sauces to cooking oils and more. Each box contains ingredients made by food artisans across the United States and internationally. We focus on independent producers who make unique items so that you can expand your culinary repertoire while supporting small businesses!
Culinarie Kit is not a meal delivery service. Our boxes don't contain pre-portioned ingredients that can only be used once. We aim to give you a whole new flavor arsenal with which to create many different meals. As we like to say: We ship you inspiration, not instructions.
How do I change my shipping address or cancel my subscription?
If you subscribed on or after September 1, 2020 and signed up for an account at checkout, you can manage your subscription here.
If you subscribed through our website prior to September 1, 2020, you can e-mail us here for account management assistance.

Are Culinarie Kit gift boxes vegan, kosher, or halal?
Most Culinarie Kit cooking gift boxes include zero animal products of any kind. While we are not certified vegan, kosher, or halal, we do our best to only include ingredients that everyone can enjoy. We encourage you to exercise your own judgement and check the individual product labeling to confirm acceptability for your specific diet.
The only box in our current roster that contains an animal product is our Lava Gift Box, which has one ingredient containing honey.
Can I make an exchange or return?
Due to the nature of food products, we do not accept any exchanges, nor do we offer refunds for orders that have already shipped, or for prepaid subscriptions.
